Top 10 Extreme Sports

 This is the big question, isn’t it? What are the top ten extreme sports? Well, I’m glad you came! Over the years I’ve been doing extreme sports I have created a top ten list in my opinion. This list is in no particular order as all these sports are amazing!

Let’s begin!

  1. Parkour/free running – done mostly in urban areas, athletes overcome obstacles and perform powerful movements across gaps with the addition of flips to add some style.

  2.  Freeride mountain biking – pushing the sport to the absolute edge with huge jumps and incredible style and steeze. You can be good a riding and look great while doing it!

  3.  Base jumping – takes incredible courage doing this, parachuting off heights you wouldn’t dream of. In base jumping, the lower, the better!


  4.  Freeride skiing/snowboarding – huge mountains, massive flips all in one. Usually off piste, riders navigate their way down, sometimes near vertical, the mountain.
  5.  Wing suiting – ever tried flying? Wing suiters glide down ridges and valleys with nothing but wings on their arms and legs with a parachute at the bottom.

  6. Surfing – massive waves? No bother, catch the wave and go with the water on your board. Bigger the wave, the better the barrel.
  7. Skating/longboarding – skate park, street spots or big hills are perfect. Showcasing and practicing new tricks on whilst skating or hitting next level speeds on windy roads on longboards.

  8. Motocross – roaring engines mixed with rough territory and obstacles requires the most courage, not stopping at thought of big air.

  9. Bouldering/freeclimbing – climbing, no rope… perfect. Crazy bodyweight strength mixed with a tricky route allows some mind-bending manoeuvres that don’t seem possible!

  10. Cliff diving – crazy height and acrobatics with no safety equipment all in one. The higher you go, the scarier, and dangerous, it gets.
